I Give a Care!
I had a vision. I was walking down the street and I saw some of the most beautiful people. Each person was friendly and smiled and said hello to me. I responded with a hello. As I looked down, I noticed that some of them were limping, some had large bleeding holes in their bodies, some had limbs that were barely attached. I questioned: what is this? I heard a nation of hurting people. I realized that these people were around me and I hadn’t noticed their pain. I have a job to do, care enough see the need, to ask what can I do, to help the hurting find the healer. Give freely and spontaneously. Don’t have a stingy heart. The way you handle matters like this triggers God, your God’s, blessing in everything you do, all your work and ventures. There are always going to be poor and needy people among you. So I command you: Always be generous, open purse and hands, give to your neighbors in trouble, your poor and hurting neighbors. (Deuteronomy 15:10, 11 MSG)
